RC - Listening to the Body: Understanding Mind-Body Connection - May 25th

Listening to the Body is a culturally responsive course designed to help participants explore the powerful connection between mind and body, without any pressure to label, diagnose, or “fix” themselves. This course supports participants in understanding how stress, trauma, and emotions can show up physically— particularly in communities where mental health is highly stigmatised. By focusing on the body as a safe and accessible starting point, the course encourages awareness in a calm, non‑pressuring environment, reducing fear, shame, and self‑blame around physical symptoms.

It offers participants the opportunity to learn, recognise, and interpret their own body cues, creating space for meaningful mind–body exploration. The course also emphasises that stress responses are normal and protective, helping individuals build a more compassionate and trusting relationship with themselves.
